Otl Aicher, one of the most important graphic designers of the 20th century, would have turned 100 in 2022. One of his most spectacular projects was the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. The show features around 100 exhibits, among them numerous posters but also items of clothing such as hostess uniforms or dirndls.

With its broad panorama of design positions, the exhibition seeks to make a topical contribution to the visibility of women artists and designers of Modernism. The show reveals a whole spectrum of different life stories and artistic accomplishments, opening up a new perspective on female design between 1880 and 1940.

"Jewellery & Garment" combines contemporary author jewellery with the avant-garde fashion of the 1990s. In the exhibition, individual pieces and small series from the field of jewelry are combined with "iconic pieces" from the world of fashion – fashion that has significantly shaped and continues to influence new generations of designers.
