Chance encounters are the starting points for the series Agata and Michael. Over the years, the Magnum photographer Bieke Depoorter builds personal relationships with her subjects, blurring the classic relationship between photographer and subject. In her works, she addresses topics such as stigmatization, breaking taboos and includes people on the fringes of society.
